Blogathon 2007 Theme: Oh, the places I have been!

Since this is the blog of a motorcycling traveling author and freelance writer, my primary theme for the Blogathon 2007 will be Oh, the places I have been!.

Some of these places will be my various homes over the years. Some will be places I could happily live in. Some will be places to which I have motorcycled. Others will be where my spirit has soared. These categories are not mutually exclusive.

I’ll write a series of little essays about each place I choose. You can expect quite a variety.

My secondary theme is up to you. Think of seven things you’d like me to tell you about. Seven things I’ve learned about riding a motorcycle? Seven flavors of ice cream? Within reason, I will answer whatever I have time to answer. (Disclaimer: there are some things I just don’t talk about online, so if I’m not comfortable with the questions I won’t answer them. Here’s a clue: keep it PG-13 and about me, not the people in my life.)

I don’t know anything about the Blogathon. Sounds like something I better not get mixed up in. Like I need to spend any more time on my blog-related activities (remember, I scored higher than you on blog obsessive behavior).

I’m so envious… I haven’t been on a motorcycle or on a road trip in years… HOWEVER, you’re going to love this… I was just hired to write a TV pilot for a documentary style reality show that teaches two women how to put together custom choppers from scratch. It was so much fun to write. I find out this weekend if the show is greenlit.
