Blog stew: 08 December 2007
Filed in BlogIt’s time for the weekly round-up of amusing and/or educational posts from my last week’s browsing. There have been some grand ones this week.
Getting into the “holiday spirit”, Jayna Shaye regrets attending the holiday expo. And a Gentleman’s Domain has something to say about snow. Finally, Pesky Apostrophe talks about who owns Christmas, with which I wholeheartedly agree.
Absinthe Dreamer has a beautiful, thought-provoking post about World AIDS Day.
Drowsey Monkey welcomes all the people who swung by the site in search of male body parts.
Bloggrrl has eight (count them…eight!) really good excuses for not blogging, which I intend to use. She doesn’t include the “my cat exploded” excuse, though, which I certainly used last week.
And on a more artsy level, check out this post about hidden art in hotel rooms from Vagabondish. (It’s a whole different level from tucking Markeroni bookmarks into the Yellow Pages.)
There were some great Thursday Thirteens as well. Nancy J. Bond speaks to the origin of common phrases. Full Body Transplant talks about the best movie love scenes.
And last but not least, Skellie from Skelliewag.org has a brilliant post which highlights clearly how to make your site user-friendly. If you are at all serious about getting more visitors to your site, I suggest you read it. :)
That’s all for this week!

My cat hasn’t exploded yet, although it looks like it could be any time now…

Does your cat explode on a regular basis, or just for fun/on special occasions?

Sherrie: cool. :) Anything in particular, or do we just have similar tastes?
