Blog Stew: 08 September 2007
Filed in BlogHere’s a weekly round-up of news and posts that made me think, or feel, or both.
I went to the Tower of London for the first time ever last year. Now, for the first time in history, there’s a female beefeater looking after the ravens. Her name is Moira Cameron and she looks very fun.
Over at The Renegade Writer blog, the principles of Naikan are used to help the process of freelance writing. Japanese philosophy and Western creativity mix.
Skellie of Skelliewag.org, one of the cleanest-looking blogs I have ever seen, is offering free clutter-busting reviews. And yes, that’s where I found this theme for the first time and fell in love. While you’re there, read the essential blogging skills list.
The Frog Bog shares the secret to a dandruff-free scalp.
Chuck Woodsbury finda finds a skateboarding dog. Sort of.
Marina, who was worrying about playing midwife to a baby donkey, didn’t need to worry about it after all. Look what she found one morning! (Warning: cuteness level=high!)
MissMeliss wrote a dreamy, descriptive account of a rumbling thunderstorm.
A Gentleman’s Domain has some very amusing ideas about time travel.
Around the Island has decided that motherhood is sticky in a touching account of what motherhood is. Meanwhile, Dooce has posted her monthly update of her daughter, and that’s touching, too.
Last but not least, DrowseyMonkey has found a study that people are happier when they are helping others. And her example is very cool.

Thanks for the shout out, Raven! I dig these kinds of posts because they introduce me to lots of new blogs. I’ll definitely check out the other posts you included. And I just read about your book and that looks cool too. I wonder if we ever crossed paths while we were both in Silicon Valley. I also ride. Thanks again, and have a great weekend!

Frogster: it’s entirely possible I waved at you, since I wave at everyone *grin*. I didn’t know you rode. Neat! What’s your ride?
