Today has been a very good day
Filed in Blog, Landmark-Hunting, WritingTell Everyone About Markeroni Month is going very well. Today Markeroni got a write-up from a blog run by a full-time writer and journalist who writes about family travel (they do a lot of historical sites and I intend to do a write-up in due course because it is a very neat blog). There were several mentions from other bloggers whom I’m getting to know. It is so lovely when that happens. :)
I also met someone online whom I am sure will be the seed for a freelance article. I love those little sparks of recognition when you just know that something will come of it.
I went out to lunch with my friend, Dale. The sequel to her book, Starspinner, should be out in September. After lunch we browsed in Borders and Michael’s. It was good to go out into the real world. ;)
And, last but not least, Raven’s Roads has been featured on Thursday Thirteen. How cool is that? It’s like winning a lottery. :)

That’s so cool! I went back and added my TT # to my posts so that maybe I’ll get picked some day.

Are you recovered from your Blogathon? I am in awe… I’m thinking about it for next year, but not sure I would survive!
Hey, your response e-mail thingy works!

Recovered from the tiredness, but not from the aftermath–the huge sudden enthusiasm for learning about the blogosphere to the detriment of my usual routines and thus getting behind on everything.
It’s been quite an experience!
You could do it with support from your friends. That’s the only way I kept going!
