7th February Photo Post

It’s really hard to know which pictures to send, there are so many
showing so many beautiful scenes. I have deliberately chosen not to pick
the creme de la creme out, but to show you what it’s like out here and
keep the best for maybe printing out etc.

We did go to Ullapool yesterday, and it was gorgeous. I’ll do a write-up
later, maybe tonight.

The view of a loch is one of the many taken along the A-835, a trunk
road which serves Ullapool and attaches to roads which serve the John
O’Groats area.

The bridge and waterfall are at Blackwater Falls.

The white building is the customs house at Ullapool.

The haybales are a precarious testimonial to farm life out here.

The one of a road and mountains is the A-835 north of Ullapool. I am
*so* going to take a motorcycle up there some day!

The picture of a house is Mam’s friend’s Andrea’s holiday home. She
rents it out to tourists. This is a common thing in the UK, to rent a
house or cottage for a week, self-catering.

Enjoy!
