We pulled gears out. We think we can see the problem, but we are not convinced it is the problem. First gear shifter fork has been really gouged. First and fourth gears on the driven shaft have scraped dogs, little sticky-up pieces that interlock. Don is puzzled and disappointed because he wanted to see broken teeth. It’s almost like it’s not enough to cause the severe effects we both experienced when shifting into first.
