21/48 Double contest time! Win a copy of “A Little Twist of Texas”
Filed in Blogathon 200721 posts in–I’ve come of age at the blogathon! Here’s something to pass on or post in your blogs:
(1)
As an incentive I’m offering a copy of “A Little Twist of Texas” as a prize. For each $5 you pledge you get one name in the hat. (If you pledge less than $5 that’s fine–you get one name in the hat too.) I’ll draw the names after I wake up on Sunday and will mail it to anywhere in the world.
(2)
Post about my blogathon adventure, with link to Raven’s Roads, in your blog, and then post a link to your post in the comments to this post. (Say that three times, fast.) At the end I’ll draw a name and the lucky winner gets a book, too!
Check out the book pages here!
Not just for bikers!
Please make a pledge to my chosen charity, Christian Children’s Fund. They’re a great, efficient organization who make a huge amount of difference in many different countries.
And you never know. Yours might just be the lucky$5!

I told all my friends to check you out in my LJ: http://physics-queen.livejournal.com/119434.html
As for pledging, can I promise to donate to Markeroni when you finish instead?

The rules of blogathon are such that I can’t accept donations anywhere but my charity in the name of blogathon. This is to prevent people from using it to profit, and I think that’s appropriate. :)
Thanks for the plug though :-)
(I can’t get into LJ at all–it’s really annoying.)

I don’t want a copy - as you know, I already have one, and it’s on a ring! I just wanted to say here that I really enjoyed reading it even though I’m not a biker. I learned a lot about appreciating people who do bike, and something about our country, too.
I will mention you in my LJ.
