Fridge manipulation
I’m swinging at a goal that keeps getting farther away, but four fans later we have a working fridge again. Yay!
Re-re-tired
We coughed up for the last four used tires and I took full advantage of the air conditioning. I am no longer an Amazon.com affiliate.
Reunited with milk
We went shopping in a new supermarket, and found a new brand of milk. Then we picked a new-to-us spot in the LTVA.
Dances with FAP
The heat is not doing us any favors, and we’re no longer dealing with it well. On the other hand, our cats are still attracted to rodents.
Desert garden
We’re coming close to the deciding point on whether we tough it out or move on. The North Pole beckons.
Life support systems
DH is working on increasing cooling, and we added water to our tanks. I’ve joined a new writer’s support group.
A penguin’s head explodes
We watched the BookCrossing-Markeroni DVD primer, and were heartily amused. In other news, this heat is not healthy for us.
Visitors and shooting stars
As the mercury soared, the volunteer rangers checked we were okay. We enjoy this lonely spot in the desert, where a passing vehicle is worthy of note.
